OSB Tapered Plugs to Fit Flush in a 64mm dia Hole, 18mm Thick Board - 100pcs
Our Tap Fit Tapered Plugs are designed with only 18mm of thickness and with zero chuck marks on the top, making these ready to be simply tapped flush to your work piece with NO cleaning off or surface finishing needed. Simply open the bag, grab a hand full and finish your job in minutes.
These still have our high precision CNC turned taper so a tight fit is garanteed in a clean circular hole of matching diameter. Our advise for installation would always be to use a small section of timber to place over the top of the plugs to drive these flush, as this prevents hammer marks on the plugs and gives the best chance of having these flush with the surface with the larger diameter items.
All of our Tapered Plugs can also be known as Pellets, Tuts or Bungs, and are used for the surface concealment of components in joinery / Timber applications.
These are supplied as SINGLES (NOT MULTIPLES ON A STICK) thereby SAVING YOU TIME AND MONEY ON SITE.
Benefits for you when using Plugs in singles are :-
FAST FIXING TIME - Use straight from the pack into your hole rather than multiples on a stick which need careful separation by tradesmen on site or in the workshop.
GUARANTEED TIGHT FIT - Due to our precision turning as singles on CNC LATHES to achieve the correct taper on each individual Plug.
NO WASTE - As singles you will never waste a Plug due to poor separation from the stick.
Our Plugs have been used in very high profile commissions from the Houses of Parliament, the Cutty Sark, Football Stadiums to Big Ben, all for the surface concealment of components when fitting timber joinery and associated timber mouldings and products.
Four generations the Appleby family have been manufacturing plugs and since being established in 1976 (to supply the joinery/construction industries) have filled tens of millions of holes with our products in the UK alone.
