How To Use Pellets
|
We talk hole size, not Pellet size. |
Step 1Select the drill size appropriate to the diameter of the head of your screw and/or bolt and counterbore your material to the required depth. |
Step 2Drill pilot hole through material appropriate to the diameter of the shank of your screw and/or bolt. |
Step 3Assemble / fit your joinery components using your screws and/or bolts. |
Step 4Select TAPERED WOOD PELLET and apply small amount of adhesive to the tapered edges, locate PELLET in hole and fix firmly into place with a gentle strike with a hammer. Allow adhesive to dry. |
Step 5Simply trim off the top of the PELLET to just above the surface of the timber and remove the remainder with sandpaper to produce a superb surface finish, thereby leaving no unsightly exposed screw or bolt head showing. |
